Nothing gets an NBA crowd more excited than a thunderous slam dunk. Whether it's an alley-oop, a dunk on the fast break or a throwdown over someone in the paint, dunking the ball will always provide some of the best highlights every year.

It's been a tremendous first week of basketball for the shortened 2011-12 season, and there's been no shortage of dunks. Let's look at the best 25.
