WWE Rumors: Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar and Monday's Top WWE News
Tonight's the night, and it feels good. If you have been watching WWE television for the last two months, you have seen the mystery videos teasing the return of someone on Jan. 2, 2012. After much speculation and debate, the answer will be revealed tonight on Raw.
We all have a pretty good idea of who this person is, but knowing the way Vince McMahon operates, that could just be a red herring for someone else. It's doubtful, but don't put it past him just to stick it to the Internet Wrestling Community.
We will have the latest news, notes and information on "Mr. It Begins," or "Mrs." if you think they will go that way, and all the other things you need to know for the first WWE show of the new year.

CHRIS JERICHO TEASES A SURPRISE MYSTERY MAN TONIGHT
We have all suspected that Jericho was the man behind the "It Begins" videos, but he has a different theory about the man behind the mystery, which he shared via Twitter on Friday night.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will WWE pull an 11th Hour switch?
Our Take: For those of you who aren't excited for Jericho to show up tonight, then you are in for a disappointment. Fans will just have to "settle" for the Best in the World at What He Does and pepper his social media with statements calling him a liar for denying it for so long.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Ways To Throw Us Off The Scent
Jericho's resolve in this whole situation has been remarkable. He has used sarcasm and anger, sometimes all at once, to tell everyone that he is not going to be in Memphis tonight.

RANDY ORTON'S BACK INJURY IS BEING OVERBLOWN
After last week's panic and uncertainty surrounding the discs in Orton's back, there are reports that he is on house-show match listings and scheduled to appear at the Royal Rumble.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Orton win the Rumble?
Our Take: It would seem to make sense, especially considering that the top three matches, including the WWE championship match, are set in stone. It helps that the event takes place in his hometown of St. Louis.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Signs No One Knows What's Going On
If Orton's injury had been a serious, long-term issue, WWE would have been in trouble. But it turns out that is not the case, and that is a good thing. He is coming into his own as a performer, and it would have been a shame for him to miss a lot of time right now.

EARTH TO WWE FANS: BROCK LESNAR AIN'T COMING HOME
When Lesnar retired from UFC last Friday, rumors about a WWE return reached a fever pitch. In fact, one of the trends on Twitter was "Back to WWE." But anyone hoping or expecting it to happen at WrestleMania 28 is delusional.
Question on Everybody's Mind: When will Lesnar return then, smart guy?
Our Take: If I had to guess, I would say that his best chance to appear at a WWE event again will be WrestleMania 29. But even that is up in the air, because if someone like Steve Austin were to come back for one more match, there would be no need to have him on the show, too.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Fake Rumors That We Want To Be Real
Unlike Chris Jericho's return, there is no reason to expect Lesnar to show up in a WWE ring anytime soon. If he does, great. But until it happens, there is no reason to get worked up about it.

MR. BELDING WANTS TO BE THE RAW GENERAL MANAGER
Of all the rumors and notes in WWE today, this one is by far my favorite. Dennis Haskins, aka Mr. Belding from "Saved By the Bell," did an interview with Memphis Sport to discuss his Twitter campaign to become the Raw General Manager.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where do I sign to make this happen?
Our Take: The link above will take you to the Twitter petition, and it wouldn't hurt if you e-mailed WWE a few hundred-thousand times. WWE loves social media, so I don't know why Mr. Belding hasn't already been hired.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Pairs of Hightop Converse Shoes
WWE loves to use lame D-list celebrities all the time if it will bring some sort of mainstream media attention. So imagine what will happen if they get one of the biggest television stars ever to appear on Raw?

MICK FOLEY IS NOT A WWE HALL OF FAMER
Most fans would argue that Foley's contributions to WWE helped launch the Attitude Era in the late 1990s, but that doesn't matter to Vince McMahon. Apparently, he isn't going into the Hall of Fame in 2012 if the Chairman of the Board has his way.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What more does Foley have to do?
Our Take: It's always tricky actually trying to figure out who is going to go in the Hall of Fame, because it all comes down to how Vinny Mac feels about a certain performer on a given day...kind of like his booking style. I would imagine Foley will go in at some point, though it won't happen soon.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Reasons To Dislike Vince McMahon
Few performers in WWE history have sacrificed their body the way that Foley has. He literally left pieces of himself in the ring, and deserves to be honored for his work. He is certainly more deserving than Koko B. Ware.
