WWE It Begins 2012: Chris Jericho Teases Brock Lesnar's Return as Mystery Man
While many fans of the WWE thought the recent “It Begins” vignettes were for the return of Chris Jericho, a new conspiracy theory has the return being for the UFC disgrace Brock Lesnar.
And Jericho is doing his best to perpetuate the rumors.
This has classic WWE methodology written all over it. The WWE universe figures out Vince McMahon’s plan and the WWE madman tries to throw people off any way he can.

I bet Jericho was sending this tweet while on the phone with Vince McMahon.
Jericho further stirred the pot by calling out UFC for being fixed and saying that Brock was WWE’s “It Begins” Mystery Man, all behind the safety of his twitter of course:
There had been subtle murmuring of The Undertaker’s name as a possible returning star, but last year’s failures make that possibility much less feasible. When The Undertaker comes back, it will be out of the blue.
While it’s true that the WWE could swerve all of us with the return of Brodus Clay as the man in the vignettes (WWE is just spiteful enough to do this), I pray that this does not come to fruition. With as bad as ratings have been, it almost can’t be Clay.
This returning star has to have the drawing ability worth the money the WWE is going to have to pay over the next four-month stretch into WrestleMania. With that eliminating Clay and The Undertaker unlikely, that led everyone to pin down Jericho as the “It Begins” mystery man.
Rumors have Jericho in Memphis on the days of the WWE’s Raw the mystery man is to be unveiled, so the natural conclusions were drawn.
As cool as it would be to see Lesnar return to the WWE, there would almost certainly be contractual issues between the WWE and UFC. While Lesnar’s loss last night at UFC 141 was terrible, there was no way that he threw the fight and no way he is returning to WWE on January 2nd.
It’s time for Y2J.
