Joel Embiid and WWE wrestler Triple H rang the bell before the Philadelphia 76ers' Game 1 showdown with the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Embiid even came out to the court with a D-Generation X introduction, furthering the wrestling theme:

The DX introduction was a throwback to Embiid's very... unique celebration after making a layup during his team's Game 2 win over the Washington Wizards in Round 1:

After the game, Embiid said it was inspired by his favorite professional wrestlers growing up.

"DX, Triple H and Shawn Michaels were my favorite wrestlers," he told reporters

Triple H and Michaels loved it:

Embiid's return from injury warranted a triumphant introduction. The big man gave all of Philadelphia a major scare when he left Game 4 against the Wizards with what was later diagnosed as a small lateral meniscus tear in his right knee.

It was unclear when, or if, Embiid would return to postseason play for a Sixers team with championship aspirations. It turns out his time off the court was short-lived, as he started against the Hawks for Sunday's Game 1.

And Philadelphia was down with that.
