Brandon Thorn
Brandon Thorn is an NFL offensive and defensive line analyst for Bleacher Report with more than a decade of experience evaluating line play at the professional and college levels. He helps readers understand how and why players win in the trenches by translating detailed film study into clear, technically grounded analysis. Thorn has studied offensive and defensive line play on a year-round basis since 2015, with a particular focus on pass protection, pass-rush technique, player development, scheme fit and high-leverage performance. His work for the Bleacher Report NFL Scouting Department includes prospect evaluations, positional rankings and contributions to the NFL1000 Project. He is also the founder and author of Trench Warfare, an analyst for Establish The Run, the scouting coordinator for OL Masterminds and a selection committee member for the Joe Moore Award. His evaluation process combines extensive film study, trait-based grading, contextual performance data and insight from players and coaches. Thorn’s goal is to provide readers with a more precise and accessible understanding of offensive and defensive line play beyond traditional statistics and surface-level analysis.
