Twenty-one fights and nearly eight years since he began punching people for a living, Aaron McKenna is returning to his old stomping grounds.
The 27-year-old Irishman will fight in his native country for the first time on Saturday when he headlines the eight-bout Zuffa Boxing 10 card alongside Italian veteran Etinosa Oliha at the 3Arena in Dublin.
The show's prelim portion, live streamed on Paramount+, will begin at noon ET while the main card begins at 2 p.m. B/R will be live blogging the event and will begin providing live updates when the main-card ring walks get underway.
McKenna and Oliha will be competing for the IBF's vacant middleweight championship, with McKenna arriving as the organization's third-ranked contender while Oliha, 28, is a spot higher at No. 2. The title has been vacant since previous claimant Janibek Alimkhanuly was stripped in March after a failed drug test.
McKenna last fought in April 2025 and scored a unanimous 12-round decision over former 154-pound champ Liam Smith in London, while Oliha has been inactive since stopping Alexander Pavlov in Round 3 in September 2024 in Germany.
