Jared Verse Calls Steelers 'Dirty' in Video, Reveals Trash Talk from Browns' Win in Rivalry Game

Cleveland Browns edge rusher Jared Verse is looking forward to a rematch against the Pittsburgh Steelers after what he described as "dirty" play during Thursday night's 27-24 win.

"I'm like, 'Y'all double-teaming. Y'all sliding. Y'all garbage.' I was talking crazy to them," Verse told reporters Thursday night about the Steelers. "I don't got no respect for anybody that plays too dirty and that does too much extra s--t after the game, excuse my French.

"I can't wait to see them again. It's going to be a good time when I see them again."

The Browns, who improved to 3-1 with the Week 4 victory, are set for a Week 8 rematch with the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Verse said Thursday he felt the team he joined this June as part of the Myles Garrett trade wasn't "the old Browns."

"It's got new swag. We're a lot more aggressive. We're a lot more getting after it," Verse told reporters after the loss (h/t EWES' Camryn Justice). "This is something different here."

Verse was already hyping up his team against the Steelers before Thursday's kickoff.

"I hate black and yellow, man. I hate it," Verse could be heard yelling to his defenders on the NFL on Prime broadcast.

Verse then clashed with Pittsburgh's offensive line at the end of the game in an altercation that involved him getting face-to-face with Mason McCormick before apparently taking a swing at the Steelers guard.

Steelers kicker Chris Boswell appeared upset when Verse wasn't called for a personal foul on the play.

Verse ultimately recorded two tackles, including one for loss. He finished the win with no pressures and no sacks while getting called for one unnecessary roughness penalty.

Verse will continue looking to record his first sack as a member of the Browns when Cleveland returns to action in Week 5 against the New York Jets.
