Why WWE's Divas Division Needs Lita in Order to Survive in 2012
Mid-week has arrived, and there are only a few days left until the big 2011 blowout. A whole new year is upon us, which means endless potential for success in the WWE.
Not only will the first RAW in 2012 have a title match pitting CM Punk versus Dolph Ziggler, we will also finally discover who is behind the mysterious "It Begins" promos we've been seeing for weeks now.
Sounds like a very interesting show.

But before you allow yourself to believe Chris Jericho has returned to save us despite his claims of never coming back, how about putting some much-needed positive energy into making a miracle happen for the Divas division?
It has been sick for years now, and the creative team's botching of the Sisters of Destruction/Pin-Up Strong act did not help one bit. Beth Phoenix and Natalya keep on being ridiculed at the hands of women who can't wrestle and even hurt their fellows in the process.
Don't believe me? Ask the Divas Champion to send you a picture of her blue face, courtesy of Alicia Fox.
A few weeks ago the Slammy Awards took place, and surprise surprise, Lita arrived on the scene to present Kelly Kelly with the "Divalicious" award.
Beth Phoenix and Natalya came in and tried to steal the show but were stopped cold by that little barbie with but a slap to the face.
Is that all? The mighty Glamazon halted just like that? Why?
There was a perfect opportunity to engage a rivalry between the Divas of Doom and the former Women's Champion, Lita.
She has long since retired but made it quite clear she would be open to work a program if called on. Well, the time has come, Lita—we and the ladies need you so bad.
Besides Kharma appearing and Beth winning the title, this must have been one of the saddest years for the division, and it is in dire need of a spark. The extreme and controversial woman could definitely do the trick. It's not every day we get a legendary woman like her to work a match or three.
That could be a most profitable endeavor for early 2012 and could set the stage for the Beth Phoenix-Natalya showdown at WrestleMania XXVIII...yes, we all want that.
It could very well be Lita taking on Beth for the title on April 1st—who knows? From there, have the DoD explode over the summer right in time for a Kharma return.
No matter how you spin it, as of right now the prospect of the Glamazon feuding with Alicia Fox seems like putting the first nail in the coffin. It is an uninteresting program because Foxie should stick to escorting Superstars to the ring period!
Lita must return to save us from another barbie doll festival and take Beth Phoenix to limits she never even dreamed of. Having the most extreme Diva around would also serve to remind all the fans of a time when anything was possible even for the women of the company.
It would be much appreciated, that's for sure. Lita has always been a fan favorite (forget that whole Edge relationship mess), and nothing bad could come of her returning for a little while.
There is so much rich history in the WWE Women's division. It must be preserved.
Lita, you are the answer.
Please heed our call. It's a quarter after eight a.m., we're a little tired and we need you now.
The Divas division will be revived.
It Begins...now!
Check this out right here. Best ladies' matches ever.
