Kane's Importance in Push Toward WrestleMania 28 with John Cena Feud
Last night on Raw, we finally heard from the masked villain Kane as he explained his actions toward John Cena in the previous two weeks.
In what was a somewhat disturbing and roundabout promo, essentially, Kane told Cena to stop acting like the chants of "Cena Sucks" don't bother him. He wants Cena to be able to embrace the hate rather than rising above it like his merchandise states to do.
With that explanation, Kane became the stepping stone that Cena needs as he heads toward his epic encounter with The Rock come April 1. It may not be the most likely of opponents for Cena, but it does bring up some different angles to be played in the coming months.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Kane is like no man that Cena has ever had to encounter. Not only is he big—most of Cena's feuds have him going against bigger guys—he possesses the threat of uncertainty every time Cena makes an appearance. Kane brings that unknown factor that makes a great heel. He could simply come out just to make his presence felt or he can use his brute force to punish you for no good reason.
That's what makes Kane the best option for Cena to feud with at this point in his career.
Some people don't want to see this feud happen, citing Kane's old age and lack of previous encounters with Cena.
In actuality, that's what makes Kane the best possibility for a feud with the leader of the Cenation right now.
John Cena is going to embark on a journey as he pushes toward his much-anticipated battle with the Great One, an opponent in which he has never encountered before. In order to prepare for The Rock, Cena must venture beyond the norm and feud with other people that he's never gone up against before.
Sure, Cena and Kane have gone toe-to-toe before, but not with the same circumstances that surround the two right now.
In their previous battles, Kane was that kinda-sorta mid-carder looking to push through to the top and Cena was beloved by everybody, even the older males.
Now, Kane is back to where he succeeded the most, with his mask. He's back to the angry man willing to take out anybody that gets in his way, while Cena is now on the cusp of being one of the most hated men in all the WWE, even though he's still the same guy we've all loved before.
Kane calling out Cena last night and telling him to finally embrace the hate is one of the best options for both men's characters at this point in time.
Kane needs something to make his new character change come off as the monster that he once was. In the process of doing this, he will end up making in harder and harder for Cena to avoid the hate from the crowd while at the same time forcing him to focus up and add to his repertoire as he heads toward April in Miami.
Kane will end up playing one of the biggest roles of any superstar going toward WrestleMania 28. Look for him to dig into Cena's psyche like Rowdy Roddy Piper was never able to do, like Miz, Alberto Del Rio and even, to this date, the Rock.
As we come closer and closer to WrestleMania, Kane holds all the cards for Cena's push.
The question is, what kind of cards is Kane going to play?
