Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
UPDATE: Monday, December 26th, 5:50 p.m. EST
Head coach Mike McCarthy has some thoughts on his star wide receiver and his ability to feature in the lone remaining game in the season. The Packers official Twitter feed quotes McCarthy.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel finishes that thought with McCarthy saying that Jennings' return is more likely to be at the start of the postseason.
"But I don't think there will be any question that he will play in the playoffs. That's the early diagnosis based on talking to the medical staff.
"
The status for Jennings will play out far more clearly as the week unfolds. For now, I would put Jennings on your bench and keep him there.
If the receiver does play, I am confident it will be just to shake off any rust he might have on the field before the Packers hit the playoffs. I hardly see the Packers throwing him out there for enough touches to make fantasy owners happy.
There is also the fear that Aaron Rodgers could sit out against a stout pass rush, one that will be out for blood. Things still look grim for Jennings as a fantasy option.
