NFL Playoff Picture: Pittsburgh Steelers Are Destined for Tim Tebow Humiliation

Alex KayDec 26, 2011

If the NFL playoffs were to start right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers would be travelling to Denver to take on Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos in the first round.

There is a great chance that that will be the same scenario after Week 17 concludes and the postseason picture is set in stone.

Denver just needs to win on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs to lock up the AFC West and take home the No. 4 seed.

Pittsburgh would need to win against the Cleveland Browns and watch the Baltimore Ravens to fall to the Cincinnati Bengals to secure anything higher than the No. 5 spot.

Assuming that the Ravens and Broncos both win, we will be seeing Pittsburgh and Denver play on the second weekend of January for the right to advance past the Wild Card weekend.

It’s a great matchup for Tebow’s squad, and you can be certain that the miracle worker will have no problem leading his group past an aging and banged-up Steelers squad that has slim to no chances of making it back to the Super Bowl.

Even with QB Ben Roethlisberger sitting on the bench getting rest last week and possibly this upcoming contest, the team simply won’t be healthy enough to muscle past a healthy and motivated Broncos team that rarely loses when their controversial QB is on the field making plays and orchestrating incredible comebacks.

Since being named starter, Tebow has only lost three games and has led a group pronounced dead in the division through hell and back to have them just one win away from the crown.

You can believe his squad will be ready to go once they make the playoffs and will continue to disprove the non-believers by winning against the Steelers, or whomever they end up facing.
