WWE RAW: Complete Preview, Rumors, News and More for Dec. 26

As a faithful member of the Internet Wrestling Community, the idea of the WWE stripping CM Punk of the WWE Championship in favor of a return to the waist of John Cena is a scary proposition.

Tonight’s Raw will reveal much more about the future of both CM Punk and the movement he started with his shoot promo and the subsequent Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

Rumors

CM Punk Potentially Out as WWE Champion?

With terrible ratings on Raw this week and in general since CM Punk took over the WWE title, the company had serious internal talks about stripping the champion of the title and putting the strap on Cena.

While the product is obviously getting better for the hardcore fans, the 90 percent of the crowd that isn’t pumped about Punk and Bryan may end up killing the momentum of the young wrestlers.

King of the Ring Making its Return?

WWE.com has been teasing the debut of the King of the Ring DVD and the hype around the release must have opened Vince McMahon’s eyes to the whole idea of bringing the PPV back.

Instead of having one of these terrible PPVs like Over the Limit, the return of King of the Ring would not only make the fans happy, but it would also be another way to get a young superstar over.

A Dean Ambrose Push?

I know Dean Ambrose as Jon Moxley, a talented kid that sharpened his teeth in CZW and HWA, but he has been showing the WWE talent developers that he could be a serious superstar moving forward.

The WWE trademarked the term “Fear My Name,” which Ambrose has been using in his heel promos lately, which almost always a big push is coming for the star.

What We’re Watching For

Kane vs. John Cena

Last week, the entire WWE fanbase was excited to see what would happen in the ongoing feud between fan favorite John Cena and the Big Red Monster, Kane.

With Kane attacking Cena last week and ripping his shirt, the feud has been started and it's important that WWE continues the storyline tonight.

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan's Reign

To see CM Punk and Daniel Bryan standing in the middle of a WWE ring with the championship gold was an amazing moment, but it may be one that we won’t have for very long.

Tonight will show what the WWE’s intentions are with the two young stars and if there really is panic behind the scenes about their ability to career the company financially.

Who is Coming on January 2nd?

This will be the last week of the return videos that have been playing on the editions of Raw over the last month. With that said, we still don’t know who it is.

Chris Jericho? Undertaker?

While all signs have pointed to Jericho through this whole process, the rumors of Triple H’s match at WrestleMania with Undertaker make him a strong possibility as well. This last video should shed more light on the subject.
