NFL Playoff Picture: Denver Broncos and Teams That Will Claim the Final 3 Spots
Sunday night's Green Bay Packers victory not only clinched the top NFC seed for them, but also punched the Atlanta Falcons' ticket to the playoffs. That means there will be three playoff berths up for grabs in Week 17.
Here are the teams that will secure those spots.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Broncos haven't looked so magical over the past couple of weeks. Losses to the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills by a combined 44 points have left them to look a lot like the team that struggled out of the gate.
The good news is that they still control their own destiny.
Denver went on the road and knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs at the beginning of their run. A second victory over the Chiefs, this time at home, would give the Broncos the AFC West crown.
A Christmas Eve loss to the Oakland Raiders has rendered this game meaningless to Kansas City.
Look for Tim Tebow and Co. to use that motivational edge to get back on track. They might not be a Super Bowl contender, but a playoff trip would represent good progress.
Oakland Raiders
Even though it's been a rocky road for the Raiders, they still have two avenues to earn a playoff berth heading into the final week.
They traded for Carson Palmer with the hopes of having a chance like that, so a win and a little help could make everybody forget the mistakes over the past few weeks.
Since I already have Denver clinching the AFC West, Oakland will need to beat the San Diego Chargers and get losses from the Cincinnati Bengals (vs. Baltimore Ravens) and Tennessee Titans (at Houston Texans) to get the final AFC Wild Card.
It's not as much of a long shot as it may sound. The Chargers have nothing left to play for while the Ravens and Texans are both formidable opponents.
Oakland just needs to take care of its own business and things could very well fall in their favor.
New York Giants
The NFC East champion will claim the NFC's final berth. Even though momentum seems to be shifting on a weekly basis in this race, the Giants currently maintain that edge after knocking off the New York Jets on Saturday, which put the Jets in a precarious spot with one game to go.
After beating the Dallas Cowboys a couple of weeks ago in Jerry Jones' massive stadium, the Giants just need a repeat performance at home.
Tony Romo is expected to play despite a banged-up hand, but could be at less than 100 percent. In a close game like this one, that could be the difference.
Should the Giants emerge victorious, they'll be a dangerous team to face in the playoffs. Their offense is starting to find a nice rhythm and Eli Manning has shown he can win big games.
