Week 17 of the 2011-12 NFL season is going to be insane.

There are a number of teams that have their playoff hopes and dreams directly affected by the outcome of their games and also by the results of other contests throughout the league.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

These two teams hate each other and have even more reason to now that the winner of this game makes the postseason while the other sits through a long offseason.

This game has been moved to primetime on Sunday night and the entire nation will be watching the final battle in the war for the NFC crown with bated breath.

Look for the Giants to come away with the victory, as they are red hot right now coming off a big win over the Jets, while Dallas was smashed by the Eagles and will be throwing a banged-up Tony Romo out there in an important game.

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The AFC West is going to be decided in this game.

Should the Broncos lose, the Raiders are more than likely going to capture the crown if they manage to beat San Diego.

Nothing is guaranteed in this league, but Tim Tebow has shown a propensity to win after being humbled by a major loss.

Look for the Broncos to understand the importance of this game and watch them rally around their QB for a win, locking the division up.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

Who would have thought the Cincinnati Bengals would be competing for a playoff spot in Week 17, especially with two other teams from the division already having clinched a berth?

Andy “The Red Rifle” Dalton has worked miracles for this team and now has his group in the postseason as a wild-card team if they win or tie on Sunday.

They play the Ravens in Week 17 and it won’t be an easy matchup whatsoever, but look for them to give it their all and win a close game.
