Week 16 Fantasy Projections: Jabar Gaffney and More Sleeper WRs Worth Starting
Today's the day fantasy football owners around the country have been dreaming about since early September. That's right, it's championship Saturday in the fantasy world, at least in most leagues. Here are some wide receiver options to consider sneaking into your lineup at the last minute.
Jabar Gaffney – Washington Redskins
Gaffney has emerged as Rex Grossman's favorite target and has become a valuable fantasy commodity in the process. He's scored 23 points over the last two weeks. His only poor game since Week 11 came against a New York Jets defense when nobody should have started him anyway.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
His strong run should continue on Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings rank 31st against opposing fantasy wideouts and got burned by Drew Brees and Co. last week. There's no reason to believe Gaffney won't produce solid numbers.
Week 16 Projection: 13 fantasy points
Demaryius Thomas – Denver Broncos
It seems like every pass Tim Tebow throws is directed at Thomas. You can't argue with the production, though. Thomas has scored 50 points over the last three weeks, including a game-breaking 26-point outing against the Vikings in Week 13.
He gets another favorable matchup in the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo's defense has been brutal in all aspects for quite some time now and it's unlikely they will turn things around before season's end. Thomas shouldn't have much trouble reaching double-digits for the fourth straight week.
Week 16 Projection: 12 fantasy points
Steve Breaston – Kansas City Chiefs
The only reason Breaston hasn't been a hotter waiver-wire name in recent weeks is due to his lack of touchdowns. He hasn't found the end zone since Week 5, but in that game he scored twice. Go figure. It's such a volatile statistic that decisions shouldn't be made purely based on it.
Kansas City's passing game looked a lot more dangerous with Kyle Orton under center last week. That's good news for Breaston heading into a game against the Oakland Raiders, who rank near the bottom against WRs. This could finally be the week Breaston scores, leading to monster numbers. Even without one, he'll still score well.
