The New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers perfected their old-school look with the jerseys they're going to be rocking during the NHL Winter Classic.

They don't pack the pizazz of their regular jerseys, but the traditional and classic feel they exude makes them the perfect Winter Classic jerseys.

Let's take a closer look at how this gear grades out.

"Wow" Factor: 5 out of 10

This may be a little generous, but while they are a bit dull-looking by design, they perfect the classic look. These may not be generating the "wow" response that forces people to stop and stare, but they certainly render a "wow" look.

It's impossible to give them any higher than a five because this classic look isn't flooring anyone. That being said, giving them less than a five isn't warranted, either.

Design: 9 out of 10

There are going to be critics who can't stand the sight of these jerseys, but it's easy to see why others will fall in love with them.

There is something historic about these jerseys that makes their appeal go through the roof. The design is simple and trendy at the same time. They hit the design out of the park, and it's hard to find an area of significant improvement on either jersey.

Overall Swag Grade: 9 out of 10

These jerseys have unlimited swag. It's their simplistic look that makes their swagger sky-high. A modern or loud jersey isn't always the quickest way to achieve greatness in this category.

There is a fine line between being boring and brilliantly classic, and these jerseys have avoided crossing it beautifully.
