Ranking the Top 10 Quarterbacks in the NFL Entering Week 16
The NFL's Week 16 is already underway with the Indianapolis Colts coming back to knock off the playoff-bound Houston Texans 19-16 on Thursday night.
That game certainly did not feature any of the league's top-tier quarterbacks, as Dan Orlovsky and T.J. Yates simply aren't even close to being at the top caliber.
With that being said, those two passers' performances had zero impact in my weekly power rankings of the top 10 quarterbacks.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Without further ado, here are the top 10 passers entering Week 16—here's a hint, Aaron Rodgers is no longer No. 1.
The Pittsburgh Steelers need to sit Ben Roethlisberger. It's so obvious that he's injured. He can no longer play an elite level until he's fully healthy.
Big Ben was intercepted three times last week in Pittsburgh's 20-3 loss against the San Francisco 49ers.
Roethlisberger is still a top-tier passer, but he just needs to regain his health.
9. Eli Manning
Eli Manning and the New York Giants hit a speed bump last weekend against the Washington Redskins, as they fell short 23-10.
Manning had a rough day as he was intercepted a whopping three times while failing to throw a single touchdown.
Manning and the Giants will take on the New York Jets this Saturday—and this is a must-win for Eli and the Giants.
Don't cross off Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers, for they're very much alive.
In last week's incredible 34-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens, Rivers threw for 270 yards and a touchdown on 17-of-23 passing and posting a stellar 127.1 quarterback rating.
7. Cam Newton
He may only be a rookie, but he's sure as hell not playing like one.
Cam Newton had a very promising performance last weekend against the Houston Texans as he helped lead his Carolina Panthers to a stunning upset victory.
Newton completed 13-of-23 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 55 yards.
6. Tony Romo
When Tony Romo is playing well, he's playing really well.
Romo and the Dallas Cowboys are coming off of an impressive 31-15 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he completed 23-of-30 passes for 249 yards while throwing three touchdowns and no interceptions.
5. Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow's Denver Broncos may have lost last week against the New England Patriots, but Tebow impressed me yet again.
The Florida product completed 11-of-22 passes for 194 yards while accumulating 93 yards on the ground and scoring two touchdowns.
All in all, he's not a great passer but he continues to get better every week.
Matthew Stafford is so inconsistent, but as of right now, he's playing like an elite passer.
Stafford is coming off a solid performance in his Detroit Lions comeback victory over the Oakland Raiders as he tallied four touchdowns while completing 29-of-52 passes for a whopping 391 yards.
3. Aaron Rodgers
It's really amazing what one poor performance in the team's first loss of the season can do to you—but I'm really not that amazed.
Aaron Rodgers started off 2011 in an incredible fashion, but he has been slowing down as of late.
Rodgers failed to complete 50 percent of his passes in last week's loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, while throwing just one touchdown and being a non-factor all game.
Is it safe to assume that Aaron Rodgers will be named the 2011 NFL MVP? I don't think so.
2. Tom Brady
2011 could very well end up being yet another record-breaking season for the three-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady.
Brady has accumulated 4,593 passing yards on the season and currently sits 491 yards away from Dan Marino's record of 5,084 yards in a season.
Through 14 games, Brady's New England Patriots sit at 11-3 with the top seed in the AFC as he's completed 66.2 percent of his passes while posting a stellar 106.7 quarterback rating.
1. Drew Brees
Drew Brees is now just 305 yards short of breaking Dan Marino's single-season record of 5,084 total passing yards in a season.
If I were a betting man, I think that it's very safe to assume that Brees will accumulate at least 305 yards in the next two weeks—I'm saying that he'll do so in this week's upcoming game.
Not only is Brees racking up passing yards left and right, but he's been playing out of his mind. Brees is completing a remarkable 71.5 percent of his passes while throwing 37 touchdowns and being intercepted 11 times.
As of right now, no one is playing the quarterback position as good as Drew Brees.
