Shaquille O'Neal Would Make WrestleMania a Big Show with Epic Appearance

Shaquille O'Neal is well on his way to making his retirement years just as special as his playing ones. So it is fitting that he would take an already epic WrestleMania to all new heights. 

One of the greatest big men to ever play in the NBA is on a path to mix it up with one of the best big men to adorn the WWE. The Miami New Times reports Shaquille O'Neal is in talks with the greatest name in sports and entertainment to feature at WrestleMania in April. 

WrestleMania 28 will take place in Miami at Sun Life stadium, and it's Shaq's hope to battle Big Show in what would be an equally epic and hilarious bout between two men that are just a shade over seven feet. 

This wouldn't be the first time that Shaq stepped into the world of professional wrestling. Below is video of O'Neal featuring as a guest referee at WWE Raw. The feature turns into a mini-bout with Big Show. 

It's rare to have a rival when you hardly every step foot into the WWE, but the bout between Shaq and Big Show is as close as fans could hope for. 

This would, of course, add to the fanfare that is already making this WrestleMania one of the most anticipated in wrestling history. The Rock is back, and he has his sights set on John Cena in what will be a tremendous boon for a sport that continues to lose mainstream fans. 

Many of the fans that left years ago will find themselves interested enough to purchase the pay-per-view event. Having Shaquille O'Neal taking a crack at a full-fledged bout would be a tremendous draw for WWE and fans that need a reason to return. 

For O'Neal, this would just be another turn in a life that has been marked by making others laugh and allowing the big man himself to have a great time. 

The world is truly his playground, and we should all be jealous at his ability to find new and inventive ways to intrigue us. 

I truly hope that Shaq and the WWE can come to terms, because this is a match made in heaven.
