San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks: Spread Info, Line and Predictions
There are a ton of playoff implications in this weekends matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, and no I am not kidding.
Before the season, if there was any discussion about both the 49ers and Seahawks being in the playoffs it was in the punchline of a joke, but believe it or not it is a possible scenario.
We know the 49ers are in as the NFC West champions, and at 11-3 they look like one of the best teams in the league.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I'm not sure what Jim Harbaugh is doing over there, but whatever it is, it is working like a charm.
Even with the division locked up, the 'Niners still want to win to try and wrap up a first-round bye, so there is a lot at stake for them.
The Seahawks on the other hand still have an outside shot at getting the last wild-card spot, but they are going to need a win to even start hoping for all of those scenarios to play out.
There's a lot on the line for both teams, and it's bound to be a great game.
Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, WA

Spread: 49ers -2
This is the team that just beat the Steelers 20-3 on Monday Night Football. It feels like a safe cover.
Over/Under: 38
I think both of these teams can muster up enough to get over this.

Key Injuries:
49ers That Did Not Practice 12/22: Wide Receiver Ted Ginn (ankle), linebacker Patrick Willis (hamstring).
Seahawks That Did Not Practice 12/12: Cornerback Kennard Cox (hamstring), defensive tackle Clinton McDonald (concussion), linebacker Malcolm Smith (concussion).
Fantasy Big Plays:
Start: Frank Gore with two touchdowns in the past two games should be a good start even though Seattle's defense only gives up 106.3 yards per game on the ground.
Sit: Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been a beast lately, but all of that is going to change against a 49ers defense that allow allows 71.5 yards per game on the ground.
Keys To 49ers Win:
The 49ers love playing defense, so the equation is simple for them. Stop Lynch, which won't be easy considering he has five touchdowns in the past three games.
If they can bottle him up though that will force the Seahawks to throw the ball, and then the 49ers can let sensational rookie Aldon Smith and his 13 sacks on the season loose.
Keys To Seahawks Win:
The Seahawks notoriously have a great home-field advantage, even though they are 4-3 at home this season.
They need to play off of the crowds momentum and get after Alex Smith on defense.
Offensively they need to try to establish the running game in order to tire the 'Niners defense out.
It's going to be a tough task.
Prediction:
The 49ers are just the far better team, and I can't pick against them.
