Week 16 Fantasy Rankings: Marshawn Lynch and More Stars That Will Ruin Your Week
It's fantasy football championship week in most leagues, so good luck if you're playing for a title. That also means every lineup decision you make over the next couple days will have a major impact on whether you'll have eight months to gloat or will be the forgotten second-place finisher.
To provide some help for your quest, here are three players who won't live up to expectations in Week 16.
QB: Eli Manning – New York Giants

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Manning had his worst game of the season against the Washington Redskins last week. He threw three interceptions and finished with a fantasy score below zero. So the good news for Manning owners is that it'll be hard for him to do any worse, but he won't get much better, either.
The Giants face off with Jets on Saturday with both teams fighting for their playoff lives.
Darrelle Revis and Co. are always a tough puzzle to solve for opposing quarterbacks and it's hard to have a lot of faith in Manning after a poor outing last week.
Week 16 Projection: eight fantasy points
RB: Marshawn Lynch – Seattle Seahawks
Lynch has been a fantasy stud over the past couple months. He's scored at least 14 points in seven straight weeks and has helped the Seahawks fight their way back into the playoff race. The hot streak will end against the San Francisco 49ers, however.
The 49ers are the NFL's best run defense by nearly 20 yards per game. More impressively, they haven't allowed a single rushing touchdown all season.
Since Lynch doesn't provide much in the passing game, his upside is limited this week. It'll be tough to bench him due to his recent play, but it's the right move.
Week 16 Projection: seven fantasy points
WR: Brandon Lloyd – St. Louis Rams
Lloyd has shown flashes of solid play throughout the season, but his inconsistency has made him a risky fantasy play. The story remains the same this week with Sam Bradford questionable for Saturday's game, which could mean another start for Kellen Clemens.
With Clemens under center against the Cincinnati Bengals, Lloyd managed just four points and now they must face a stout Pittsburgh Steelers secondary.
There are just too many red flags attached to Lloyd this week to risk your championship hopes on him doing anything of significance.
