WWE News: WWE Officials Reportedly Looking to Push Two Divas

Oh, the WWE Divas division, how I loathe thee. 

I really try to get into women’s wrestling in the WWE, but it’s incredibly hard to do that when people within the company can’t even do it. 

I wish WWE officials would care about the Divas, give them a little more ring time and at least make some sort of effort to improve what is becoming a joke of a division. 

Apparently, there are plans in place to do that by pushing two certain Divas who have been getting a lot more TV time as of late.

WWE officials reportedly have big things planned in the Divas division for Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes as the manager for Primo and Epico.

Okay, maybe I should be careful what I wish for. When I said I wanted a little more effort to be put into the Divas division, this isn’t exactly what I meant. 

I suppose it’s not so bad that Rosa Mendes will be getting pushed as a manager because she’s absolutely gorgeous and will at least serve some sort of purpose (other than jump roping) by being the manager of a quality tag team like Epico and Primo. 

On the other hand, I'm not really thrilled about more Alicia Fox.

I know the WWE needs a new baby face Diva to push, but—and maybe it’s just me—Alicia looks to be incredibly careless in the ring. Her axe kick finisher that she used several months ago looked dangerous, and as we saw on Raw, she injured Beth Phoenix with her flipping leg drop finisher by landing directly on Beth’s forehead. 

There are definitely worse female wrestlers that the WWE could push—hello, Bella Twins—but I don’t think Alicia Fox is the answer to an ever-struggling Divas division. Maybe she’ll prove me wrong, but for now, I have to question putting her in the spotlight in a feud against Beth and Natalya. 

Then again, there aren’t a ton of other options for the WWE to put in that spot, anyway. I guess Alicia is the best of a bad bunch.
