Tim Tebow: Saturday Night Live Would Regret Having Tim Terrific Host
Tim Tebow is a lot of things to his fans like: a football player, a role model, an inspiration and the leader of the Denver Broncos. However, with the rumors of the television show “Saturday Night Live” wanting Timmy Terrific to be a host when the Broncos season is over, he will not add actor to the things people know him for.
According to the gossip website, Hollywoodlife.com, SNL are big fans of the Broncos’ quarterback, and know that having him on the show would be a huge boost to their ratings.
"HollywoodLife.com has just spoken to a source very close to ‘SNL,’ who says they totally want Tim to host the show as soon as football season is over!
Even though Saturday Night Live made fun of Tim Tebow during their Dec. 17 episode, they actually are huge fans of the pro-athelete! HollywoodLife.com has just learned that SNL wants the 24-year-old to host the show!
“SNL realizes it would be HUGE ratings and they are hoping he will say yes,” our source says. “Tim just can’t and won’t be able to do it while the season is still in play.”
The hilarious skit over the weekend poked fun at Tim’s strong Christian faith by having Jason Sudeikis dress up as Jesus and come into the locker room and say he was responsible for the Broncos’ win.

Tebow and his faith didn't make this skit funny. No, the skit was hilarious because of the talented actors on SNL.
Listen, Tebow the football player is a good thing. He has the Broncos on the verge of winning the AFC West division after Denver started the season 1-4.
However, from what we have seen in Tebow’s post-game press conferences he doesn’t have a comedic personality. You don’t see Tim cracking jokes, or playing with the media. Instead, we see Tebow and his, “Aw shucks you guys, we are playing hard and winning games as a team” persona.
Those are his professional press conferences.
While in college, Tebow gave us two memorable moments when he held back tears twice after a loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship game, and after a loss to Ole Miss in the middle of the Florida Gators’ season.
SNL has given us some great athlete performances, like when Yankees’ shortstop Derek Jeter and when Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback Peyton Manning hosted the show.
However, they have failed miserably when NBA Hall of Fame members Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan took the reigns as the host.
Tebow would spike the television ratings if and when he hosts the show. However, after the first skit or two, you will be changing the channel or turning off your TV to go to bed.
