NFL Pro Bowl Voting 2012: Tim Tebow and Stars That'll Be Snubbed

The NFL Pro Bowl itself is one of the biggest jokes in professional sports, but the honor of being selected is something that all players look for in terms of satisfying their legacy.

While many stars will travel to Hawaii for a free vacation, there are a few who deserve the honor yet will be left on the mainland to fend for themselves.

All of the following players deserve the Pro Bowl honor more than almost anyone selected, but will have to watch from home.

Tim Tebow—The Denver Broncos have gone 7-2 after handing the reins over to young running quarterback Tim Tebow, but he will get no Pro Bowl love this season.

With five rushing touchdowns and 11 passing touchdowns, the QB has proved that he can be clutch when it matters most.

If the Broncos make the playoffs this season, not only will Tim Tebow be a Pro Bowl snub, he will be a MVP snub as well.

Marshawn Lynch—There is no way that a player who puts the team on his back on a weekly basis shouldn’t be in the Pro Bowl each and every year.

The Seattle Seahawks may not be the best team in the NFC West, but Lynch has been one of the most consistent running backs in the NFL this season.

With 1011 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, there be no bigger snub at the running back position than Lynch.

Victor Cruz—There may be no bigger of a surprise in the NFL this season than the New York Giants' receiving gem Victor Cruz.

After the Giants took the chance on signing the undrafted free agent last season, he was put on the IR and aimed at this season to be his breakout year.

He was right.

Cruz has 73 catches this season for 1194 yards and seven touchdowns, making him not only the breakout star of the year, but a more than deserving Pro Bowl snub.
