Fantasy Football Week 16: Tim Tebow and More Mid-Level QBs Who Will Dominate
Week 16 is championship weekend in most fantasy football leagues, which makes every lineup decision crucial as your four-month journey comes to an end. Of course, there is no position where it's more vital to get elite production from than at quarterback, so here are three mid-tier signal-callers who will rack up a bunch of points.
Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos
Tebow doesn't score most of his points in the same way other QBs do, but they count just the same. He had a 22-point outing against the New England Patriots last week and hasn't scored less than 10 points in any game since becoming the starter.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He gets an extremely favorable matchup in the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. The Bills defense has been one of the NFL's worst units over the past few months and will struggle to slow down Tebow. There's a strong chance the media darling will break the 20-point barrier for the fourth time.
Week 16 Projection: 20 fantasy points
Rex Grossman, Washington Redskins
Rarely has Grossman been considered a legitimate fantasy quarterback, but he falls into that category this week. He's scored at least 13 points in three of his last five starts and has been regularly given the green light to throw more than 30 times.
Grossman faces off with the Minnesota Vikings, who rank dead-last against opposing fantasy QBs this season. They are giving up more than two touchdown passes per game and are allowing a 69 percent completion rate. Even Grossman should find enough holes in that defense to have a big day.
Week 16 Projection: 17 fantasy points
Mark Sanchez, New York Jets
Sanchez actually ranks ninth in average scoring among quarterbacks, ahead of bigger names like Philip Rivers and Michael Vick. He's totaled 68 points over the last four weeks. Not too shabby for a guy who's still a free agent in 17 percent of ESPN leagues.
He should keep the hot streak alive against the New York Giants, who have been decimated by injuries on defense and haven't been able to fill the voids. The Jets running game has been better as of late, which is opening up more gaps in the secondary for Sanchez to exploit.
Week 16 Projection: 16 fantasy points
