Andrew Luck: Why Signing with Tom Condon Would Be Great Sign for Colts
Though nothing is official yet, most within the industry believe Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck will eventually sign to be represented by Tom Condon and Ben Dogra of CAA, according to Yahoo's Jason Cole. That's big news because Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is also represented by CAA.
The Colts are one loss away from clinching the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, which would put them in position to take Luck. Some believe that if Luck signs with CAA, it would reinforce the idea that he and Manning have a plan to deal with the situation in Indianapolis.
If Condon does, in fact, get Luck to sign on, it has to be considered a good sign for the Colts. First of all, Condon has dealt with Indianapolis a lot over the years, and negotiations have never really gotten contentious. The two sides seem to have a good working relationship.

Additionally, the fact that Luck and Manning could be represented by the same agency leads me to believe that the two quarterbacks are willing to work together. After all, if Manning asks Condon not to represent Luck, you'd have to believe he'd obey. Manning is an incredibly powerful client, one whom CAA would want to keep happy.
If Luck and Manning are willing to work together, there is a chance having both on the roster in Indianapolis could work. I personally still think the Colts should trade away the No. 1 pick and bring back a package of picks and players that could help them rebuild what is a very weak roster from top to bottom, but if they are set on taking Luck and keeping Manning then this is good news.
