NFL Playoff Scenarios: Potential QB Matchups We Can't Wait to See
I’m all for some solid defense every once in a while, but it doesn’t get any better than two elite quarterbacks going up against each other in the playoffs.
Remember the Drew Brees vs. Peyton Manning Super Bowl a couple of years ago? It was an instant classic.
Here’s a look at three potential playoff matchups that could repeat that magic.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stafford has put together a huge season, but we’ve yet to see what he can do in the playoffs. Some quarterbacks are notorious for choking and some step up big time. It’s just what happens.
I can’t wait to see what kind of QB Stafford turns into. On the other side, Romo is one of those carrying a reputation of choke artist, so it would be interesting to see if he can turn that around.
What’s more appealing is that both of these QBs throw the ball a ton, and both have a lot of talented targets. This could turn into a very exciting shootout.
Aaron Rodgers vs Drew Brees
These two met up in Week 1, and it turned into an instant classic as Rodgers and the Packers beat Brees and the Saints 42-34.
They are two of the top three candidates for MVP, and the majority of people would love to see them battle it out for a trip to the Super Bowl as well.
Rodgers is completing 68 percent of his passes, Brees is completing 71 percent and there’s no question both guys would put on absolute shows on the biggest stage.
Tom Brady vs Aaron Rodgers
The current Golden Boy against the future Golden Boy. There’s nothing like having the two best quarterbacks battle it out for the Super Bowl title.
Brady vs. Brees would also work here, but Brees has gone up against Brady (the Saints dominated and Brees was fantastic, for the record) while Rodgers never has. What a time it would be for the first meeting between the two.
Also, don’t you want to see Aaron Rodgers against this porous New England defense? And Brady against Green Bay’s lacking pass D?
Things would get more than exciting.
