2011 Premier League Quiz: How Much Do You Know About the EPL This Year?

With Christmas right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to see how much you know about the English Premier League season.

There have been some crazy games, some wild scores and some incredible goals. All of that is just part of a normal year in the EPL.

This is a short quiz for you to see how much you know about this season. Don't cheat—see if you know a few odd facts about the Premiership this year.

All of these stats are through the 16th week. Let's see how much you've paid attention to this year's EPL season.

How Many Games Have Been Postponed This Year?

A game may be postponed for a variety of reasons:  a cup, international commitment, weather or something else.

How many games have been postponed (or missed) so far this year? Essentially, who has a game(s) still in hand?

Hint: Riots may have had a say in a match or two.

Answer: 1

So far this year, the Everton vs. Tottenham match is the only one waiting to be played.

With the London riots, the match at White Hart Lane simply couldn't go on as scheduled. As a result, Spurs have a game in hand and are sitting in a pretty nice spot in the league.

I guess Everton could still get these points later on, but that shouldn't effect too much.

How Many Hat Tricks?

Goals have been abundant this season, but how many individuals have found the net three times in one match?

Hint: Robin van Persie only has one.

Answer: 10

Wayne Rooney has as many as an individual as Manchester City do as a team. Not too shabby for a bald man.

Er, a man with fake hair.

Uh, I mean, a man with luscious locks.

How Many Draws?

Sometimes, draws can be just as entertaining as win/loss decisions. Usually when Aston Villa are playing, the entertainment isn't there, regardless.

Hint: Villa have seven draws. And yes, those games were terrible to watch.

Answer: 36

There have been 36 draws so far this season.

Tim Krul has manufactured a handful of those draws on his own. As Newcastle United continues to lose players to injury, he'll need to create quite a few more to salvage points.

How Many Goals by Non-Manchester Clubs?

Everyone knows that 452 goals have been scored this year.

That's easy.

How many goals have been scored by teams outside the top two?

Hint: These two teams scored a lot. Make sure you don't forget that.

Answer: 365

And we know that Wigan sure haven't helped that total.

Thank God for North London.

How Many Managers Have Been Shown the Door?

It's tough to keep a job in today's football world. How many men have been unsuccessful in keeping their jobs this year?

(At least, so far.)

Hint: Andre Villas-Boas still has a job.

Answer: 1

Only one.

Let's hope it stays that way for awhile. Please, Roman Abramovich, please.
