NFL Playoff Scenarios: Philadelphia Eagles Will Shock NFL with Playoff Berth
The Philadelphia Eagles have been as surprising a team as any in the NFL all season long.
Prior to the start of the season the Eagles shocked the world with the acquisition of defensive backs Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nnamdi Asomugha, as well as the re-signing of quarterback Michael Vick.
Then came the horrid 1-4 start, where the Eagles were anything but the "Dream Team" Vince Young claimed they would be.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Winners of five of the nine games since and now winners of their last two games—paired with sluggish late season play from the NFC East-rival Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants—and it is these former 1-4 Eagles that inch closer to a potential NFC East title and playoff birth.
With the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins left on the team's schedule, the Philadelphia Eagles control some of their own destiny. The Eagles would sweep the season series with the Dallas Cowboys and clinch the best division record if they were to win their final two games.
As it stands, the Eagles are the only team in the NFC East with a winning record in the division. The team is currently 3-1 in the division on the season, as they split one of two games with the New York Giants. This means that if the Eagles were to win out, they would win the tiebreaker over both the Cowboys and Giants.
The Giants are a team who is 7-7 and in danger of going 7-8, with their next game being played on the road against the AFC-contending New York Jets. The Eagles could easily find themselves ahead of the Giants after Week 16 of the season.
The final thing that would have to happen for the Eagles to make the postseason would be a Dallas Cowboys loss in Week 17 at the New York Giants. This is a game that will be as difficult to win for the Cowboys as any, as the Giants will be fighting for a playoff spot as well.
The Eagles are winners of their last two games and have beaten the New York Jets, a streaking Miami Dolphins team and the New York Giants in three of their last five games.
Michael Vick has been a significant part of this run, as the Eagles are now 2-0 since his return from injury. The Eagles are winners of four of their last six when Vick has started at quarterback for the team.
Not only is a Philadelphia Eagles playoff appearance possible, it is inevitable. With the way this team has performed as of late and a difficult final two games for the Cowboys and Giants, the Eagles will be making a postseason appearance.
