NFL Week 16 Fantasy Rankings: Wide Receivers Edition

Ryan LesterDec 20, 2011

Here’s the LestersLegends’ Week 16 fantasy football wide receiver rankings:

1. Calvin Johnson vs. San Diego: Megatron showed last week why he’s the No. 1 fantasy receiver.

2. Roddy White @ New Orleans
: Has five TDs in his past four games.

3. Vincent Jackson @ Detroit
: Has been solid the past three games and is due for an explosion.

4. Wes Welker vs. Miami
: Leads the NFL in receiving yards and is one away from double-digit TDs.

5. Marques Colston vs. Atlanta
: Had eight catches for 113 yards in the first meeting with Atlanta.

6. Steve Smith vs. Tampa Bay
: Tampa Bay has allowed 25 passing TDs.

7. Larry Fitzgerald @ Cincinnati
: Bengals are suddenly struggling to stop the pass, allowing T.J. Yates and Kellen Clemens to have solid games. Skelton loves Fitz.

8. Brandon Marshall @ New England
: The Pats continue to struggle against the pass. Marshall had seven catches for 139 yards in their first meeting.

9. Julio Jones @ New Orleans
: Julio is heating up at the right time. I’m expecting a shootout.

10. Hakeem Nicks @ New York Jets
: After getting picked apart by the Eagles, the defense could be fired up. Nicks is averaging 6.8 catches for 102.8 yards in his past four games though.

11. Lance Moore vs. Atlanta
: If the Falcons key in on Sproles again, Moore could eat them up.

12. Mike Wallace vs. St. Louis
: Brings the big-play ability to the table.

13. Santana Moss vs. Minnesota
: Vikings can’t stop the pass. Period.

14. Percy Harvin @ Washington
: Getting Percy more involved will have to be a priority this week.

15. Dez Bryant vs. Philadelphia
: Has scored in three straight games.

16. Victor Cruz @ New York Jets
: Giants seem to do their best when their backs against the wall.

17. Miles Austin vs. Philadelphia
: Scored in two straight games.

18. Demaryius Thomas @ Buffalo
: Averaging 102.7 yards in his past three games. He’s the guy Tebow looks to when he passes. The Bills have allowed 26 passing scores.

19. Jabar Gaffney vs. Minnesota
: See Moss, Santana.

20. Antonio Brown vs. St. Louis
: Thriving on all the attention that Mike Wallace receives.

21. A.J. Green vs. Arizona
: He's hurting (shoulder) but he should be able to play through it. Averaging 92.8 yards in his past four games.

22. Laurent Robinson vs. Philadelphia
: Continues to produce despite the many alternatives at Romo’s disposal.

23. Jordy Nelson vs. Chicago
: He should bounce back, but it could be an early day for some of Green Bay’s playmakers.

24. Dwayne Bowe vs. Oakland
: Orton improves Bowe’s prospects dramatically.

25. Michael Crabtree @ Seattle
: Continues to quietly put up solid numbers.

26. Santonio Holmes vs. New York Giants
: He didn’t play a strong game, but he has scored in four straight. Plus, the Giants’ secondary is terrible.

27. Darrius Heyward-Bey @ Kansas City
: The streaky DHB has had three solid games in a row.

28. Jeremy Maclin @ Dallas
: Eagles will need their outside weapons to keep pace with the Cowboys.

29. Nate Burleson vs. San Diego
: Averaging 64.0 yards with two TDs in his past six games.

30. Nate Washington vs. Jac
ksonville: Scored in back-to-back games. Locker should get the start, which benefits Nate.

31. Mike Williams @ Carolina
: Averaging 73.8 yards and 0.5 TDs in his past four games.

32. Anquan Boldin vs. Cleveland
: The streaky Boldin is averaging just 50.8 yards without a score in his past four games.

33. DeSean Jackson @ Dallas
: See Maclin, Jeremy. He’s inconsistent but capable of going off.

34. Stevie Johnson vs. Denver
: Groin injury makes him a risky play this week.

35. Malcom Floyd @ Detroit
: Averaging 77.7 yards in his past three games.

36. Mario Manningham @ New York Jets
: Cruz and Nicks should draw the attention, which could lead to a solid game for Manningham.

37. Torrey Smith vs. Cleveland
: He has scored in consecutive weeks, but he’s inconsistent and Cleveland is good against the pass.

38. Reggie Wayne vs. Houston
: Reggie scored last week, but Houston will make it tough to repeat.

39. Brandon Lloyd @ Pittsburgh
: Hard to play Lloyd against Pittsburgh with Kellen Clemens as his QB.

40. Pierre Garcon vs. Houston
: Big-play ability, but Houston is strong against the pass.
