NFL Power Rankings Week 16: Hottest Teams Getting Ready for Postseason Play
Here's a quick look at the hottest NFL teams headed for the playoffs in a couple of weeks.
One of the most important aspects of postseason play is momentum, and these teams all appear to have that working in their favor.
New Orleans Saints (No. 3)

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This very well may be the most dangerous team in the NFL right now. I mean, they've won six in a row, quarterback Drew Brees is as close to unstoppable as you can get and somehow the Saints continue to fly under the radar.
The Green Bay Packers better watch out in the NFC.
Remember back in Week 1 when the Packers knocked off the Saints 42-34 in an instant classic? Well, at this rate, we very well could see a rematch in the NFC Championship.
I wouldn't mind that.
New England Patriots (No. 2)
The Patriots have already clinched the NFC East title, but that doesn't mean their current six-game winning streak will come to an end anytime soon.
They still have the No. 1 seed in the NFC to play for, so Miami and Buffalo better watch out in the coming weeks. Both games are at Gillette Stadium, meaning the Pats could easily enter the playoffs on an eight-game winning streak.
That should scare most teams.
Atlanta Falcons (No. 7)
Remember at the beginning of the season when Matt Ryan and Roddy White were having trouble finding a connection in the passing game?
Yeah, me neither.
The duo is clicking on every cylinder right now and that was highlighted this week by an impressive 41-14 over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Falcons have now won four of their last five since losing to New Orleans in Week 10.
That leads us to next week's Monday Night Football matchup: Atlanta at New Orleans. Two of the hottest teams in the league. Two of the best offenses in the league.
I don't suggest missing that one.
