It is my belief that WWE would be better off if there were no pay-per-view shows to build towards and there were just more "filler" episodes of Raw each week because those have been the most entertaining to watch.
Coming off a fun TLC pay-per-view, WWE put on a fun episode of Raw. There were no fancy gimmicks or stupid stories that made no sense. It was just a simple show, which is what we need to see more of.

MARK HENRY WON'T BE WORKING FOR A WHILE
As much as we loved Daniel Bryan's World Title win at TLC, the only reason that it happened is because Mark Henry can barely walk and should not be working. Reports have surfaced that say he either tore his groin or severely pulled it.
Question on Everybody's Mind: How long will Henry be out of commission?
Our Take: It is unclear at this point. If it is torn and he has to have surgery, I would guess that he won't be around in time for WrestleMania. That is just speculation on my part, but considering how gingerly he has been moving, it would not be a surprise.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Sexual Chocolate Chants
Regardless of how you feel about Henry as a wrestler, it's a shame to see him go down to injury when he was in the midst of his biggest push yet. He was getting over in ways that none of us thought possible.

NOT EVERYONE LIKED DANIEL BRYAN'S WORLD TITLE WIN
While the IWC is reveling in seeing Bryan and CM Punk as the top two champions in WWE, former champion Batista is not a fan of it, or more specifically the way it happened. Here is what he said on twitter:

Our Take: I don't actually think that he has a problem with Bryan. I think that his issue came with the way that WWE gave him the title. Instead of letting him work a long match where he would win over the crowd, he pinned someone that was laid out by someone else.

As much as I love Bryan, I have to agree with Batista on this one, if that is what he meant by his comment. Unless you are already a top heel, there is no one that gets over by winning a title in such a fluky fashion.

START THE SHAWN MICHAELS WRESTLEMANIA COMEBACK RUMORS NOW
In an interview with WWE.com, HBK was asked if he had a WrestleMania match that he regrets. He said that the match with Steve Austin in 1998 could have been better if he wasn't in such "a great place physically or emotionally."

Our Take: Sadly, yes. He has expressed no desire to get back in the ring, he went out on a high-note that very few wrestlers ever get a chance to, and he does not need the payday to keep up his quality of life.

It's too bad that fans always bring up Michaels' name when it pertains to comebacks. His career was great on its own and there is nothing that he can do to top the way that he went out, in the main event of WrestleMania against The Undertaker.

We are just two weeks away from January 2, and while we all think that we figured who the mysterious "It Begins" superstar is a month ago, there were some not-so-subtle clues in the latest video that aired on Raw.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is there any way that this is not Chris Jericho?
Our Take: There is always a chance, but based on the fact that there was a maple leaf disappearing in the video and a name on the notebook that appears to start with a "C," the picture is starting to become clear.

WWE doesn't often get a lot of things right, but Raw last night was a fun show and this return, whether it's Jericho or someone else, has sparked some interest.

Our Take: Because WWE thinks that having attractive women with no in-ring ability whatsoever draws ratings or makes money or does something none of them really do.

I have nothing against women wrestling. In fact, there are plenty of great female wrestlers out there. But WWE doesn't care about them because they don't have the right look. If you want to sign models, then make them managers or something where they don't have to do anything physical.
