EPL Week 17: Wolverhampton vs. Norwich City and 5 Moneymaking Tips
Both Wolves and Norwich feel they should have won last week in the English Premier League—Wolves going down 2-1 to Stoke and Norwich letting a late equalizer in against Everton—and both will be looking to bounce back well this week.
With valuable points on the line in this one and both teams thinking they should be able to win it, this one could get interesting.
Whether you're a die-hard supporter or just a casual observer, here are five hot-to-trot money-making tips that are sure to make this game is even greater for you.
1. Norwich to Win
1 of 5As mentioned, Norwich had an upset brewing against Everton before letting a late goal in to walk away with a still well-deserved point. Against Wolves, they look to be in too classy a form.
Home losses to QPR, Newcastle and Stoke don't sit well for Wolves, who despite taking 71.4 percent of their points at home, aren't good enough to match it with an ever-improving Norwich side.
Wolves would be hard-pressed to score more than one goal in this one, and Norwich have failed to score a goal in only two of their encounters this year.
2. Norwich to Score the First Goal
2 of 5Norwich have failed to score a goal in only two of their encounters this year. They look certain to score against a hapless Wolves defense.
Known for their attacking play in recent weeks, Norwich will be looking to get on the board early and pressure Wolves from the beginning.
3. Norwich HT Result // Norwich FT Result
3 of 5This one is more a matter of the early Norwich pressure being too much for Wolves to handle, rather than Norwich being an all-dominating offensive presence.
Wolves have conceded 17 goals in the first half of their games this year, and against a Norwich side that will be keen to put the pressure on, they look set to cough up an early goal.
I'm not sure Wolverhampton will be able to chase down Norwich after half-time either, as it took a great goal from Everton last week to steal a point back.
Take Norwich in the half-time / full-time double.
4. Under 3.5 Goals for the Game
4 of 5It appears like the bet to take is the over 2.5 goals with 75 percent of Wolves games going over and half of Norwich's away games doing the same.
I'm just not sold on it.
I can't see Wolves scoring in this one at all; Norwich will be keen not to let their lead slip like last week and head in to the Christmas season on a strong note.
Which means they'd need to score three goals to get over 2.5. Should they be up by two, they won't be pressing as hard for a third.
Norwich will be too tough to break down defensively, and Wolves will be too ugly on all fronts to get on the board, so the under 3.5 is a safer bet to take.
5. Final Score: Norwich 2, Wolves 0
5 of 5Norwich should have gotten the three points against Everton last week—a side they'll feel is much stronger than Wolves, who are heading in the wrong direction.
Whilst they'll be desperate to avoid the relegation zone, Wolves simply won't be good enough to win this one.
Desperation is fine, as long as it turns in to pressure, hustle and, ultimately, goals.
I just think it'll turn in to frustration for the attackers and panic for the defenders.
