Alabama Football: Alabama to Get More Switch Commitment Players and More?

Larry Burton (Syndicated Writer)  Sunday, the reneged commit immediately followed by the new commitment to Alabama sent shock waves throughout the state of Alabama.

The reason?

Not only did he renege his commitment from Auburn, but he immediately committed to their biggest rival, in-state Alabama.

It has been the hottest topic on the Internet in that area for the past week.

But are there other players who are soon to be de-commiting from their original choice and leaving and going to Alabama instead?

The answer is yes.

Could Jameis Winston leave his first choice of Florida State to instead come back to his boyhood choice of Alabama?

Florida State may have reason to be even more upset at Alabama when it come to flip flopping recruits.

Last week, Alphonse Taylor took his commitment back from the Seminoles, and Alabama may be the place he winds up as well. The 6'6'', 354 pound offensive tackle prospect may be just what the Tide needs with the possibility of losing left tackle Barrett Jones to the NFL after this season. In addition, Alabama could lose DJ Fluker, the other tackle, next season.

Taylor could also be a run stopping nose tackle on defense and with Alabama also losing Josh Chapman this year, and Jesse Williams next year, that's a need that Saban needs to fill as well.

Then there's the case of Eastern Arizona Junior College defensive back Travell Dixon, who looked like a lock for Florida State, but now rumors are leaking that Alabama may steal him as well.

And what about Eddie Goldman, the nation's top defensive lineman that many Florida State fans had already counted as in the fold? Now it seems Alabama may steal him as well.

Should Nick Saban pull off even some of these prospects, he'll have Seminole fans stomping mad. The question is, will they lose their cool as bad as the Auburn fans did?

Then there are the other surprises out there just waiting to happen. Some of which I have some knowledge of and some that are sure to surprise.
