Week 16 Waiver Wire: Kyle Orton and Others You Could Add
There may still be a breakout player or two in the Monday night game between the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers
QB Kyle Orton, Kansas City Chiefs
Orton completed almost 75 percent of his passes for 299 yards Sunday against the Packers. Despite not throwing for a score, these are encouraging numbers for Orton, especially with a matchup against the Raiders coming up this week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
RB Jackie Battle, Kansas City Chiefs
Battle only received 10 carries for 37 yards on Sunday, but he did score a fourth quarter touchdown. Like Orton, you pick up Battle for the matchup against the Raiders. Few teams have allowed as many points to running backs as the Raiders have this season.
RB Donald Brown, Indianapolis Colts
Where did 161 yards on 16 carries come from? An 80-yard run certainly helps, but Brown has been a viable waiver wire pick up even before his big day against the Titans. While the Texans are a tough fantasy defense stats-wise next, they've been run on recently. Brown is worth a look.
RB Lance Ball, Denver Broncos
Willis McGahee continues to battle leg injuries, and Ball took advantage on Sunday against the Patriots with 105 total yards and a score. The Broncos will run the ball more than any team in the NFL, so Ball is definitely someone to keep your eye on. If McGahee misses time, Ball becomes a starting-caliber running back option.
WR Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos
Thomas had his third big game in a row, catching seven passes for 119 yards against the Patriots on Sunday. He was targeted a team-high 10 times. As Tim Tebow continues to progress as a passer, Thomas becomes more viable.
WR Nate Burleson, Detroit Lions
Burleson has been up-and-down all season, but he had a solid game in Oakland with seven catches for 81 yards and a score. The Lions are going to throw it on offense, so Burleson should continue to see a solid number of targets.
