WWE TLC 2011: Expect Zack Ryder to Dominate Overrated Dolph Ziggler

The Zack Ryder train is about to run right over Dolph Ziggler.

The momentum he’s currently riding is pretty incredible. Since 2007 he has been utilizing the Internet slowly but surely to build an incredibly loyal fanbase that ranks among one of the best in the sport.

Remember when The Rock was babbling about his comeback during Survivor Series, only to been drowned out by the chants for Ryder?

Ryder was named as one of Sports Illustrated’s 100 most influential athletes on Twitter. People can’t get enough of the YouTube sensation, and that sets him up perfectly Sunday night against Ziggler.

He may not have much mainstream appeal just yet, but it’s clear that his fanbase is growing by the day and securing a win at TLC will vault him to that next level.

There are rumors that buddy John Cena will be a special referee for the match. If this is the case, you know Cena is getting involved to help Ryder.

Ziggler isn’t a bad wrestler by any means, but he is running into a buzz saw in Ryder. A win for him won’t launch nearly as much of a frenzy as a Ryder win would.

And that’s the name of the game for the WWE.

Ratings make the sport go ‘round and they need to capitalize on this momentum now. Expect Ryder to struggle at first, only for Cena to step in and help beat up Ziggler before he gets pinned by a rejuvenated Ryder.
