NFL Week 15 Predictions: Are the New Orleans Saints New Favorites in the NFC?
Sunday, December 18th 2011 was truly a hectic and shocking day of football.
Vegas odds were defied in every way possible. Nevertheless, when the dust and rubble cleared at the end of the day, there was a clear favorite for the NFC title.
Despite not having the best record in the NFC, the New Orleans Saints now hold the best chance at taking a trip to Indianapolis in February. As many of the NFL’s “powerhouse” teams fell during Week 15, the league's hottest team from New Orleans played their best game all year.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Drew Brees threw for over 400 yards and an astonishing five touchdowns, and Lance Moore caught five balls for 90-plus yards and two scores. Not to be overshadowed by his teammates, the re-emergence of Chris Ivory on the field means a great deal to the success of the potent Saints' offense.
While the Saints were scoring touchdowns all day against the Minnesota Vikings, the Green Bay Packers were suffering their first loss of the season.
Up until Sunday, the Packers were unbeaten and had yet to score less than 25 points in a single game. However, against an average 5-8 Kansas City Chiefs team, they could only muster two scores and experienced their first loss of the year.
The Packers hold the best record in the NFL, let alone the NFC, but are no longer the favorites in my book.
The Saints are playing the best they have played all year, and when Drew Brees is on his A game, he is scary good. Brees is now only 304 passing yards away from breaking a major NFL record, which can only add to the Saints momentum.
Watch out for the “Who Dat” Nation in the playoffs, as they will be a force to be reckoned with.
