WWE TLC 2011: Pay-Per-View Event Lacks Flair Without John Cena

Kyle VassaloDec 18, 2011

Tired of John Cena? The last pay-per-view event will prove that without Cena, the WWE is substantially less exciting.

Cena consistently finds himself in the main event because he's the biggest star in the WWE. TLC is going to be a success without Cena, but an anticlimactic finish can ill afford to have a superstar like Cena idle.

CM Punk is looking to retain his title, and going up against The Miz and Alberto Del Rio is a star-laden match that has everything you could ever want in a championship match.

While they all had to earn their way into the match and that is all well and good, there is no logical place that Cena could have fit into TLC.

Everyone whining and griping about seeing Cena everywhere they turn will learn why it is that Cena's presence is required in main events.

The WWE neglecting the opportunity to include a healthy Cena in a pay-per-view match is incomprehensible.

The WWE is willingly missing out on a chance to get one of the best wrestlers on the mic and in the ring. A few whining fans who are tired of seeing the same faces in the ring shouldn't keep Cena out of the ring in an event that requires his presence as much as this one does.

Cena being MIA looks like an experiment that is going to go terribly wrong. Does anybody actually benefit from a star of his caliber not taking part in the action?

This sorry attempt at diversity will leave fans and the WWE anxiously awaiting Cena's return to the ring after this inexplicable and brief sabbatical.
