Ahmad Bradshaw Video: Watch Giants RB's Circus Catch vs. Redskins

Wes ODonnellDec 18, 2011

The New York Giants don't have many highlights in the first half of their game against the Washington Redskins.

In fact, Big Blue has filled at least half of a SportsCenter "Not Top 10" in this half alone.

A monster drop by Hakeem Nicks, disgusting play from rookie cornerback Prince Amukamara and terrible challenge by coach Tom Coughlin...the list goes on.

Ahmad Bradshaw provided the only highlight of the half.

On a second down play during the Giants' only scoring drive, Eli Manning was flushed out of the pocket and threw to Bradshaw, who fell to the ground with the ball still in the air.

He somehow then kicked the ball to himself with it still in the air, and wound up holding on for the catch.

The play set up the Giants' lone field goal of absolutely disgusting first half of play.

Manning has since been picked off again, and the Giants' woeful defense held Washington to a field goal.

New York currently controls their playoff destiny and has to win one of these next two games and the season finale against Dallas if they want to join the postseason party.

Play like this doesn't deserve a postseason berth, and it certainly won't be rewarded if it continues.

The Redskins are playing like their season is on the line, and they only have four wins. The Giants—who have a tendency to let inferior teams play with them, and in this case lead them far too often—need to wake up or they'll be playing for their playoff lives against the New York Jets next week.
