Legedu Naanee Video: Watch Panthers WR Snag Rock off Lineman's Shoulder
Carolina Panthers rookie sensation quarterback Cam Newton can make lots of things happen on the field, but I have a feeling this off-the-shoulder pass to wide receiver Legedu Naanee is not in any NFL playbook.
After watching this highlight, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see it implemented from now on.
Every NFL head coach is looking to be "the guy" to change the system and bend the rules.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Believe it or not, professional football used to be all about running the ball up the gut, but then again they also used leather helmets.
The game changes, and that's what makes it so great.
Perhaps using linemen to complete a pass will become a new fad?
It can be something like the wildcat offense or Tim Tebow's special read-option offense.
Defenses wouldn't know what to do with themselves, and they certainly wouldn't know how to stop it.
How could any defensive coordinator rest easy at night knowing that they'd have to account for the backs and shoulders of big offensive linemen?
It's like skipping a rock, except with a football. I'm telling you folks, this could be the next big thing.
Newton may have inadvertently changed the game off football as we know it, but let's not forget about Naanee.
If he didn't catch that ball, the play would have just gone down as a poor read by Newton, and a funny incomplete pass to the back of one of his linemen.
Instead, we are talking about history in the making.
Or perhaps it's just a fluke play, but i'll let you be the judge of that.
