A.J. Green Injury: Update on Bengals Star's Shoulder Injury
A.J. Green is one heck of a football player, but the rookie receiver has legitimate issues staying healthy.
The 6'4", 207-pounder is the Bengals' top receiver and their best overall weapon, but fell on his shoulder today against the Rams.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green returned to the game against the Rams and caught two more passes before trouble hit again.
ESPN's John Clayton tweeted:
Cincinnati currently leads a game that they need to win and Green is still expected to be on the football field.
Initial Update
Fantasy Impact
This is a huge blow for fantasy owners. Green has an extremely favorable matchup against a weak secondary and already recorded four catches for 94 yards before leaving the game.
Who's the Backup?
Andrew Hawkins will see more targets in Jones' absence and fellow starter Jerome Simpson will now be the No. 1.
Tight end Jermaine Gresham will see more targets as well.
Devastation Scale: 8
For both the team and fantasy owners, Green's loss is huge. The Bengals are severely limited without him on the field and obviously fantasy owners are immediately impacted without him.
Timeline for Return
He's considered questionable for return. He is obviously going to want to go back into the game, but the Bengals are going to go err on the side of caution with him.
They need this game though and will consider putting him back in if he can go.
What They're Saying
ESPN NFL Insider John Clayton said:
