John Daly Video: Watch Golfer Disgrace American Flag and Bob Dylan
Few times in history has any pro athlete done the Three Stooges slap to the American flag and Bob Dylan like John Daly did in Thailand this week.
Despite your suspicions, Daly was in Thailand on business. He was attending the Thailand Golf Championship when he decided to pull out the jacket and belt out the tunes.
Bad idea.

Only in another country would you not be heckled for the American flag suit jacket, but I thought there had to be someone there who wouldn’t stand for that travesty.
The only clothes that should adorn the American flag should be the clothes that Lady Liberty wears in the paintings made famous in the late 1700s. Daly looks like Lady Liberty if she was stung by a bee and allergic.
After the shock of seeing Daly wrapped in our nation's pride and joy, the situation only grows worse. Any time am acoustic guitar is present, you can count me out.
Of all the songs to start belting out, Daly chooses the Bob Dylan classic Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.
First things first—Eric Clapton’s cover was much better than Daly’s. As far as Daly’s rendition, it was atrocious. From the lame camera work to his fat, unshaven face, Daly spends three minutes taking an American classic and beating it to death.
The people at this banquet should have stopped this act before it got started, but the faux enthusiasm they show makes me so sad on the inside.
I imagine that one of the people in attendance called a loved one and shared the fact they saw John Daly cover this song live. With the joy in their hearts, I would to have loved to just take those mental midgets down a peg for thinking that this is significant in any way.
The only videos I want to see from John Daly are the ones where he is losing his cool or shooting a 21 on a par 5 hole. I need meltdowns, not Daly disgracing music and the American flag in one fell, fat swoop.
