WWE TLC 2011 Predictions: Dolph Ziggler's Stock Will Soar with Win vs Zack Ryder
Of all the young, talented wrestlers in WWE today, there is no one whose stock is as high as Dolph Ziggler's. He constantly puts on the best and most exciting matches on pay-per-views and Raw, and at TLC against Zack Ryder, his rise to main event status will continue.
Ziggler has already gained the trust of Vince McMahon because he has been put in a number of high-profile matches on Raw over the last two months. He was even given a match against WWE champion CM Punk a few weeks ago, and it was one of the best television matches of the year.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The only thing that is really holding Ziggler back as a true star, at least to me, is his gimmick. I love that he is the cocky heel who says that he is better than everyone, but there are certain things that he does that just don't look like a superstar that you would build around.
There are certain ways to be cocky that can get you real heel heat, and there are other ways in which the crowd is booing as they are laughing at you. Ziggler has done more of the latter than the former in recent weeks.
The best example I can remember is when he did a headstand after winning a match. It was funny and good enough to get him some heat, but I shouldn't be laughing at someone who is one of the best wrestlers in the business.
Ziggler has to get rid of some of the little things that he does in order to become a true main event superstar. Everything else is there for him to be huge, and he will prove that against Ryder on Sunday night.
These two have had an interesting feud over the last two months, though I would not say that it has been good. It could have been, but the booking has left a lot to be desired.
Ryder is always made to look like a dork because Vince doesn't understand why he is popular and wants to cut him down a peg or two just because he has no idea how to make money anymore.
But Ziggler is going to carry Ryder to a great match, and he will be one of the biggest movers and shakers in WWE because of his talent in the ring and his growing charisma with the microphone.
At some point, I would like to see Ziggler lose his manager, Vickie Guerrero, and turn into a face, but for now he is one of the better heel characters that the company has. He could even go up against CM Punk at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship.
That show does not need a huge title match because the Rumble itself is going to be the draw, so WWE should see what Ziggler can do in a pay-per-view main event without having to worry about how it might affect the buy rate.
