4 Teams with the Best Shots at Ending Tim Tebow Mania

Love him or hate him, Tim Tebow is the mist polarizing figure in American sports. The Tebow train is full steam ahead—at least, until someone can beat this guy. 

Underneath everything Tebow represents, if he does not win, there is no story. So, if you are sick of the relentless coverage of this guy, the only way to stop it is for the Broncos to lose and fade into irrelevancy. 

Here are the four teams that have the best chance of doing just that. 

New England Patriots

Good news, Tebow "haters." The mania will start to wind down as early as this week. 

This will easily be the biggest test for this Bronco team in all phases. Tebow will have a tough time keeping up with Brady, and the Broncos defense is going to have a tough time getting pressure on a Patriot offensive line that has had an awesome season so far. 

It's going to take a real miracle for the Broncos to steal a win from the Brady Bunch this Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens

Besides the Patriots, the Broncos have two easy games to finish their schedule against the Chiefs and Bills. Therefore, I need to reach into the playoffs to look for teams that will knock off the Broncos. 

The Ravens are a miserable matchup for the Broncos. They can eliminate their pass rush with a good running attack. Tebow is not going to have any room to run against this front seven, and I can easily see Ed Reed taking Tebow to school a time or two. 

New York Jets

Yes, I realize that the Broncos beat the Jets nearly a month ago, but that game came on a short week in which the Jets just played an emotional game against the Patriots on Sunday night and then had to travel across the country. More importantly, the Jets offensive line has vastly improved since, and they have their running game back on track.

Until the last drive, the Jets completely shut down the Bronco offense, even though the Broncos got excellent field position throughout that game. 

Also, should they meet in the playoffs, you can bet the Jets are going to want revenge for their earlier defeat.

Houston Texans

This one may be a bit of a surprise, but the Texans are just the better team across the board. They have the better defense, offensive line, receivers, tight end, running game and quarterback (yes, I think Yates is better than Tebow).

After losing two quarterbacks and still winning their division, the Texans are one of the most mentally-tough teams in football. When going against a guy like Tebow, who may as well have invented mental toughness, that will be a huge factor.
