Fantasy Football Week 15: Top Pickups To Boost Your Fantasy Squad

Ryan RudnanskyDec 17, 2011

With the playoffs kicking off in most fantasy football leagues, everything is on the line.

That means finding a top pickup to boost your fantasy squad is even more important, and finding an impact player could mean the difference between winning and losing.

For some of you, that means losing various bets, including but not limited to having to wear your opponent's teams' colors for the rest of the season.

Here are three top pickups to make sure you don't end up on the wrong end of that bet in Week 15.

Jabar Gaffney, WR, Washington Redskins

Former New England Patriots receiver Jabar Gaffney has had a few big games in his career, including against his former team in Week 14.

Against the Patriots, Gaffney racked up 92 yards and a touchdown. He's had a few big games like this this season and he's facing the injury-ravaged New York Giants in Week 15, who have given up the second-most fantasy points to receivers this season.

Expect Gaffney to have a big day.

Rex Grossman, QB, Washington Redskins

Rex Grossman may not be the answer for the Redskins, but he could be the answer for fantasy teams in Week 15.

In the last four weeks, Grossman has had three weeks of 15 points or more, and he just threw for 252 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Patriots in Week 14.

Grossman faces the Giants in Week 15, who have given up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.

Ryan Grant, RB, Green Bay Packers

We haven't heard Ryan Grant's name much this season, given the Green Bay Packers' tendency to throw the ball a lot with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and James Starks' emergence.

Well, Starks is injured, and Grant got the bulk of the load in Week 14, rushing for 85 yards and two touchdowns.

Grant still has something left in the tank and the Packers should get close to the goal line plenty facing the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15.

Not to mention, the Chiefs have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
