Tim Tebow: Thievery Proves Mile High Messiah Is No Angel

Tim Tebow can chuck footballs all he wants, but you won't find him casting stones any time soon. That is because the golden boy is not without sin.

In a shocking development, Tebow admitted to being guilty of the eighth sin. He is a thief. Wood Paige of the Denver Post has the quote:

I stole a quote book from the (University of Florida) strength-and-conditioning coach. He kept asking when I was going to give it back.

"

Can you hear that sound—like glass breaking in the distance? That would be the minds of the massive throng of Tebow-maniacs. The mighty anointed messiah is not perfect.

In terms of rules, laws or morals broken by players in college, this is amazingly mild. That is not even a strong enough word. This wouldn't even register on the scale for most players. 

However, Tim Tebow is not most players. This is a player that has been put on a pedestal in a way that the sporting world has never seen.

This is not going to make any headlines and it would be foolish to make too much out of it. However, there is a small fraction of people where this will surely send a jolt into their perception of Tebow.

In the end, perhaps a small discretion like this is the best thing that could have ever happened to Tebow. This will temper those more absurd expectations and ideals that are cast upon him.

Tebow has a big enough load to shoulder without the expectations of others that he is as flawless as a deity.
