WWE TLC 2011 Predictions: Kane Will Save Brutal Mark Henry vs. Big Show Bout
For the third straight pay-per-view, Mark Henry will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Big Show at TLC. The matches have generally been boring, and this likely will be no exception, but an appearance from Kane can make it all worth it.
Kane made his much-anticipated return on Monday as he interfered in a match between Henry and John Cena on RAW. There had been many promos hyping Kane's return in the preceding weeks and because of the involvement of a mask in these promos, many fans were excited to see him return.
Since ditching the mask in 2003, Kane has been in steady decline in terms of his character. A mask may not make a wrestler, but there is no question that the decision to go back to wearing one has people excited about Kane for the first time in a long time.

Something that very few are excited about, however, is yet another match between Henry and Big Show. I fully realize that Henry and Big Show have to work out their differences after Henry put him out with a leg injury, but that easily could have been accomplished with one or two matches, but fans will now have to sit through a third.
The stipulation of it being a chairs match may help save it in some way, but it's merely a Band-Aid for a bigger problem. The only way, in my estimation, that yet another Henry vs. Big Show match can captivate the viewing audience is if Kane shows up.
I initially thought that Kane might have a match with Cena at TLC, but since nothing has been announced, I have to assume that it isn't going to happen. Kane could choose to attack Cena during a promo or something of that nature, but I still believe he has a bone to pick with Henry.
Kane appeared to make a step toward Henry on RAW, but after Henry exited the ring, Kane settled on chokeslamming Cena. It's hard to say whether Kane is going to be a full-on heel or simply a tweener willing to destroy everyone in his path. Based on the great reaction he received from the crowd, I expect him to be more of a tweener.
With that said, he still needs to go after Henry, and I believe he will do so at TLC. The fact that Henry will be competing in a chairs match makes it even more likely since Henry injured Kane by using a chair. I think Kane will get his long-awaited revenge on Henry by returning the favor.
That doesn't necessarily mean that Henry will lose the title, though, and I hope he doesn't. As much as I haven't enjoyed the Henry vs. Big Show feud, I have really liked the direction of Henry's character. I get the feeling that Vince McMahon and Co. feel the same way, so I don't anticipate Henry losing the match.
Perhaps Henry will win the match and then attempt to injure Big Show once again before Kane comes to the aid of his former tag-team partner. An even better scenario would be Kane attacking Henry and seemingly allowing Big Show to win the title before taking out Big Show as well.
This would further establish Kane as a no-non-sense tweener and it would likely get him involved in the World Heavyweight Championship picture. However it players out, Kane simply must get involved in this match in some way or else it will simply be a drain on an otherwise strong card.
