John Wall Video: Watch the Great Wall's Sick Crossover and Power Slam vs. 76ers

Washington Wizards rookie John Wall is so ready for the 2011-12 NBA season to finally begin that he wasted no time making his opponents look downright foolish last night against the Philadelphia 76ers in the team's preseason opener.

After this dunk I hope Wall checked on 76ers guard Evan Turner's ankles, because the Wizards point guard shook them pretty good with his blazing quick crossover.

76ers forward Craig Brackins (No. 33) makes a smart decision on this play to not try and block Wall as he soars toward the rim. There's no need for Brackins to be embarrassed by Wall and get posterized.

This is exactly what Wizards fans want to see from the "Great Wall" this season, ultra-quick dribbling and an explosive charge towards the basket with no fear of contact at the rim.

Normally I would not get so excited over a powerful slam in the preseason, but the look on Wall after this dunk was one of fierce determination.

He has something to prove this season. Wall was the top pick in the draft last year, but was inconsistent in his rookie season.

With Blake Griffin dominating the rookie headlines a season ago, Wall will come into this year eager to prove he is a top NBA point guard and a superstar in the making.

The Wizards have a ton of talent, but as the point guard Wall must make sure his teammate's skills are best utilized to help the team win games.

I fully expect Wall to have a fantastic season and take his talents and team to the next level.
