Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings: Rating the Elite RB Plays

Getting huge performances from your fantasy football running backs is imperative any week—it doesn't matter if it's the first week of the season or if you're squaring off against your brother-in-law for the championship. 

These are the elite running back plays in Week 15. 

If you've got them in your lineup, you should be all set. 

Cedric Benson vs. St. Louis Rams 

Nothing against Andy Dalton, he's had a great rookie year, but the Bengals now know they're a run-first club. 

Benson faces the league's worst run defense that's allowing nearly 160 yards rushing per game. 

They'll take a few shots down the field to A.J. Green, but don't be stunned when the Bengals coaching calls at least 25 runs for Benson in this game that could end up being a total beat down by halftime. 

Just about every back has had his way with the Rams defense, why wouldn't Benson? 

Roy Helu vs. New York Giants 

The majority of the public sees the Giants with this intimidating and nearly impenetrable defensive line. While they arguably have one of the best pass-rushing units in the NFC, they are certainly susceptible against the run, surrounding nearly 130 yards rushing per game this season. 

Helu is coming off three straight 100-yard rushing efforts and has averaged 29 touches over that span. 

Think he'll be a major facet of the Redskins' offensive game plan on Sunday? 

I do. 

I wouldn't be shocked to see him go well over 100 total yards. 

Reggie Bush vs. Buffalo Bills 

The Bills run defense has gotten increasingly worse over the course of the season (discounting a strong effort against the Redskins in Toronto) and Bush has actually found his niche in the Dolphins offense over the last month. 

He should have his way with a relatively undisciplined Buffalo run defense on outside runs and in the screen game on third downs. 

A big day for the multi-dimensional Dolphins back.
