Week 15 NFL Picks: Obituary Notice for Teams That Could Be Buried
With losses in Week 15, the following NFL teams may see their playoff aspirations go up in smoke this weekend:
Chicago Bears
A third straight loss this weekend would put the Bears at 7-7, which isn't mathematically out of the NFC playoff hunt. However, the Bears would really be put behind the eight ball to get back into this. The Falcons just won their ninth game of the season last night, so they seem to have the No. 5 seed all but wrapped up.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Lions have a very winnable game against the Raiders on Sunday. A win in Oakland would give them nine wins. Chicago's game with Seattle on Sunday is about as close to must-win as you can get in Week 15.
Oakland Raiders
The aforementioned Raiders face a tough matchup with the Lions this weekend, and a loss could really put a dent on their chances to catch the Denver Broncos in the AFC West. At this point, that's their only real option for cracking the playoff picture in the AFC.
But where is the mindset of this Raiders team? They've been blown out consecutive weeks to the Dolphins and Packers. Darren McFadden might not come back this season. And Carson Palmer is back to throwing back-breaking interceptions. It needs to turn around in a hurry in Oakland.
San Diego Chargers
I actually think the Chargers have a decent shot at knocking off the visiting Baltimore Ravens, but another loss eliminates them from contention.
Instead of thinking about the playoffs, however, keep your eye on Philip Rivers. He's looked a lot better in recent weeks with all his weapons back. This turned into a lost season in part because Rivers struggled so mightily to start the year. A strong finish will be a good sign for 2012.
