Dwight Howard Video: Watch Superman Sing R&B While Addressing Trade Rumors

I've always wondered how I would react when placed in a corner. It seems that bigger men are prone to bursting out in song. 

Dwight Howard recently had to answer questions by the media, and—in that moment—he understood one amazing truth of mankind.

Everything sounds better in song.

Even if your words are, "I am not about to commit fully to this franchise," they are still very catchy. 

The video starts with Dwight Howard singing a delicious little diddy. If you fail to recognize it, the song is called "Too Close" by Next.

After that, it's back to business. Reporters feign amusement and pour on the questions about Howard leaving their beloved town of strip malls and humidity. 

That's when Howard tries to answer them in song, which is a delight, because I know that the reporters are not in the least bit amused. 

The Magic have shut the door on the full-fledged Dwight Howard sale that was going on. Since that time, however, Howard has maintained that he has not taken down his trade demands. 

Therefore, the obvious and only questions in this video are directed towards the assumed trade that would have to come down at some point this season. 

We all know that Howard can't answer these questions directly, so I appreciate that he gives us a jam in his non-answers. On the other hand, if you are going to talk about that scrimmage...

Howard lights up when he is asked about the intra-squad scrimmage. Boy, oh boy did he like what was going on there. I'm almost mad we have no video of that instead.
